There are a slew of new Bible authorities all claiming scholarship and understanding which all appear to be able to systematically make God into a god of love void of any judgment. They have determined that hell is just a garbage dump, that the mention of hell and everlasting destruction and separation from God is just a conspiracy of the church fathers to scare anyone and everyone into submission. As a person and a believer who claims the fear of God as my great treasure, they seem to think that I must just be a hell fire and damnation preacher who delights in the everlasting torture and destruction of wicked men.
As I faithfully read the scriptures and seek the leading of the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth, they seem to judge me as unloving, bitter and hateful as I quote the scriptures, I read the KJV – yet I am not a KJV only advocate, just the quoting of scriptures and speaking of them as the Holy Spirit has made them come alive to me over the years is enough in it’s self to bring their adverse and damning judgement upon me. Many of these people will condemn all judgement, declaring God a God of love, while on the other side of their mouth judging me as having no fruit or being unloving. These people do not know me, they have never seen me face to face, nor have they taken a look at my family, my seven children, nor any appreciable fruit in my life, they have a picture of me defined by their experiences with others and there I am in the box they have placed me in.
I have wondered why these people believe they will be saved, and exactly how they have worked out their salvation with fear and trembling? Many of them have thrown out the scriptures or redefined them carefully so as to remove the judgmental portions, they have claimed that the Old Testament is about the God of judgement, but now the God of the New Testament has replaced the God of the O. T. as the God of love and grace for everyone. Just the mere mention of scriptures of warning is enough to send them over the top, they only receive that which appears loving to them in their own view of “daddy” in heaven. I keep on thinking and telling myself, how can these people escape hell who have remove the fear of God from before their eyes? They have dictated to God concerning his righteousness, they have said “if God is righteous, then he wouldn’t do this nor that”, they have said “I am special to God and God will never leave me or forsake me, if I were the only person alive, Jesus would have died just for me.” Why is the holiness and the righteousness of God and the fear of God removed from their eyes?While these people seek to make scriptures void, or reinterpret them, claiming the conspiracy of the church fathers, why are they not alarmed by the lack of scriptures pointing out the god they preach?
I am well aware that anyone who has been seeking the Lord and reading the scriptures clearly, they will know that the doctrine of dispensationalism is a lie, we are not indeed awaiting a secret rapture, instead there is judgement that must first begin in the house of God. God does not dwell in temples made by the hands of men, he dwells in people, they are his temple. No physical temple made by the hands of men could ever be defiled by the abomination of desolation, there is no physical temple that is holy, therefore it cannot be defiled, only that which is truly holy can be defiled. So following I am going to post some scriptures of warning – how can these people be righteous who condemn me for quoting these scriptures?
(Psa 2:10-12) Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
(Php 2:12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
(Mal 3:16-18) Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
(Psa 76:10-12 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Do I really need anymore scriptures? There are a ton of scripture that tell us that the beginning of wisdom and knowledge begins with the fear of God. I don’t tell people what God will do and what he won’t do because he is righteous according to my judgment, rather I tell people that God is completely righteous and perfect in all of his ways. Even if God puts me in eternal hell and torment, I wouldn’t have it any other way, for God created righteousness and he created evil, although he does not author evil, he still created it. Just as darkness is only a lack of light, so is evil a lack of righteousness. So I say, just as Job said, “though he kill me, yet will I serve him” – to whom else shall I go? There is only one God, creator of heaven and earth, he doesn’t need me, I need him. Although I love him, he first loved me!
Again I ask the question, how shall these men be found worthy to escape the judgement of God, who have removed the fear of God from before their eyes?
(Luk 21:34-36) And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Judgement must begin first at the house of God, he will finish this work before the judgement of the unbeliever, the spiritual land will be cleansed so that no unclean or uncircumcised person will dwell there.
(Zec 13:4-9) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive: But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
If they are not preaching the God of the scriptures, but a god of “love” in their own image, then why are you listening to them?
Every man must work his own salvation out with fear and trembling and that will continue to be my stand, if everyone is saved then our salvation might not be so special and great after all, would it?
