Well you’re probably going to say I am crazy – again – but you know how that everyone wants to be a watchman today? Watching the Catholic Church, I kind of thought that they were always apostate, that doesn’t seem new to me, but anyway you are watching them and of course every other false preacher in the spiritual land, defiled by the inhabitants of the land.

They think that they are watchmen like Ezekiel was, sorry wrong watchman! But here is Song of Solomon about the coming of the Lord. Check this little tidbit out where the bride is looking for her beloved.

(Son 5:6-7) I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer. The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.

(Psa 127:1) A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

So the bride in Son. came out of the wilderness looking for her groom, the Lord Jesus, but when she was in the city (Jerusalem), the watchmen wounded her. Isn’t it interesting that the watchmen in this scenario are not the bride, but actually wounds her when she is looking for her love?

(Zec 12:3) And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

So you sure you want to be a watchman and make it your burden to keep Jerusalem? Jesus said, “When you see these things – flee Jerusalem!” But you are a brave soul, so why not go ahead and make Jerusalem your burden? So you want to be a watchman in Jerusalem do you?

(Gal 4:26) But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
