We are living at a time of great confusion, we are living at a time of great debate and disagreement on what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ.  Spiritually, it seems like all the armies of the world are gathered together against a spiritual land, referred to in Gal. 4:26 as Jerusalem from above, the mother of us all.   It is the Devil himself that has propagated the lie that our issues are with a carnal, earthly kingdom called “Israel” from below, when Gal. ch. 4 clearly says that this carnal earthly kingdom today is in bondage with her children and is compared to Hagar, the mother of Ishmael.   Ishmael was not the child of promise, Isaac was the child of promise.

As recorded in Genesis, Isaac had two sons, Esau and Jacob.   Esau was the older son and therefore the rightful recipient of the inheritance, but it was Jacob that was given the inheritance because Esau sold it for a bowl of food.   It was Jacob who wrestled with the angel and would not let go until he was blessed by the angel.  Even when Jacob was fleeing from his angry brother Esau, who was hunting him down for his life,  this was the time of Jacob’s trouble, it was when Esau was hunting for his life and Jacob took hold of the Lord and just would not let him go until he blessed him.

Esau who sold his birthright for a bowl of soup is compared to Israel from below, the natural Jews.  It was the natural Jews who, when they met their King, the King of the Jews, they took the one to whom the promise was given, the promise child, they spit in his face and hung him on a tree!  Just like their father Esau, they would have made Jesus King when he turned a few loaves and fishes into baskets of food, instead they saw the image of Jesus despised by men, a man of suffering, and they said “we will not have this man to rule over us!”; THEY INDEED SOLD THEIR BIRTHRIGHT FOR A BASKET OF FOOD! 

Jesus said, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord”. (Luke 13:34-35)  It was Jacob who’s name was changed to Israel, not Esau’s, that’s why he wanted to kill him!  It was Isaac who was the promise child, who’s father was willing to sacrifice him on an altar to God, not Ishmael, the son of the bond woman.   It is Jesus Christ that is the child of promise, whom the builders rejected the same became the chief corner stone of the only true temple of God.

ARE YOU GETTING THE PICTURE YET?   Israel is a name given to Jacob, the child of promise, not to the Israel from below.  So let me say this loud and clear, Israel did NOT become a nation in 1948 according to bible prophesy, the Israel from below is a delusion, a detraction, our true battle is for the heavenly Jerusalem.   Anyone teaching something different than this is in danger of hell, they are a liar and the truth is not in them and that includes John MacArthur and the thousands of preachers the Lord did not send!

Here is just a simple verse you either accept or deny, there is no room for your opinion, this is just as straightforward as it gets!

(Eph 2:12-13) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:  But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

So have we got that straight?  All the promises made to Abraham belong to us in Christ, they are not Israel, we are the Israel of promise, and Israel today has still not become a nation as foretold in the scriptures.   Read Isaiah 66:6-8 & Rev. 7:3-8 & ch. 12.  compare the Old Testament prophesies with the book of Rev, they speak of the same thing.

So why am I so bold at a time of such confusion and spiritual upheaval?  At a time of great delusion, so much so that if it were possible the very elect would be deceived?

Here is my secret and it should be yours as well, spoken of by Solomon the Preacher.   (Pro 2:1-5) My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;  Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;  If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;  Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

Just like Jacob who wrestled with the Lord and would not let him go until he blessed him, I wrestled with God in my night hour, in my time of trouble.  I cried out after knowledge and understanding, I sought for it as silver, like a hidden treasure, and the Lord gave me a key understanding – he taught me the understanding of the fear of God, and that  is where it all began!

Brothers, my boldness does not come from pride as some like to think, it comes from the fear of God, loving not my life unto death.  Our foundations are broken brothers and that foundation is Jesus Christ – that is why all of the confusion, that is why you are almost daily being confronted with unsound souls, welding a sword of death, recklessly swinging, thinking they serve God!   It is not time dear brother to holler on the streets and show the world how wonderful we are, but it’s time for us to make sure that our lives are built on a sure foundation.  It’s time for us to love rebuke, don’t hate a rebuke, be a wise man, love the brethren, desire mercy and walk humbly with thy God and DO JUSTLY.   You know where that scripture is right?
