There are a slew of new Bible authorities all claiming scholarship and understanding which all appear to be able to systematically make God into a god of love void of any judgment.  They have determined that hell is just a garbage dump, that the mention of hell and everlasting destruction and separation from God is just a conspiracy of the church fathers to scare anyone and everyone into submission.  As a person and a believer who claims the fear of God as my great treasure, they seem to think that I must just be a hell fire and damnation preacher who delights in the everlasting torture and destruction of wicked men. Any teaching, doctrine or person that leads people to Jesus Christ as their head, is of the Lord.  Any teaching, doctrine or person who leads people to themselves, is of the Devil.  This is how you will know the servants of the Lord and the servants of the Devil, the king of Babylon.  He who glorifies the Lord is of God, he who glorifies himself is of the Devil, simple truth.

(1Co 11:3) But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

God has chosen the foolishness of Preaching to save those who are lost, he has also chosen the foolish things of this world to confound those who are wise in this world.

(1Co 1:25-29) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.  For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;  And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.
