(Psa 11:3-4) If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of kings to search it out (Pro. 25:2).
When the Lord gave me a revelation of the fear of God, it became crystal clear to me that God is a God who hides his truth. (Isa. 6:9; Isa. 29:10; Matt. 11:25) The Lord made it clear to me that living truth is valuable, like a man who sold all that he had to buy one field containing a pearl of great price. Today again, the Lord’s eyelids try the hearts of the children of men, but the foundations of truth are broken. I cannot even speak, I am so devastated by the utter foolishness parading it’s self as honorable. The foundations of truth are destroyed, so the righteous are left with little they can do. All truth comes by the grace and mercy of God, not by works of righteousness by the hands of carnal flesh, but the Lord’s eyelids try the hearts of men to see if any man truly seeks for God with a pure heart.
As the scripture say, a man shall be justified or condemned by the words that come out of his mouth, for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A man who truly fears God, does not take his truth lightly. A man who truly fears God does NOT give glory to himself and his great efforts in the pursuit of truth, but knows himself to be blind, naked and alone outside of the favor and mercy of God. A man who knows the fear of God understands that the fear of God is the very beginning of knowledge, wisdom and understanding. A man who truly fears God would say in his heart and mind “why would God, the creator of all, have anything to do with me?”; a man who has recklessly abandon all for that one pearl of great price. So the Lord pronounces his judgment on the man who has the fear of God according to the precepts of men and not the revelation of Jesus Christ.
(Isa 29:13-14) Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
Today the foundations of living truth are destroyed, so to us belongs confusion of faces. I am full of those who glorify themselves, they glorify their own efforts with their own mouths, they say “we have truth, our hermetical exegesis is sound, we don’t believe a lie, we have our reformation fathers to trust in, we have scholars and professors in our colleges, we have commentaries to support our views from 100’s of years ago, we study to get approved and our doctrines are sure”. And the Lord looks from heaven, who’s eyelids try the hearts of men and laughs, he appoints to them confusion of face, he has found error in their hearts, they do not have the fear of God before their eyes, therefore they shall fail!
(Isa 28:1-3) Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine! Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand. The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
Ephraim is a half-breed Jew, his mother is an Egyptian, this prophesy does most certainly speak to the people in the mostly Gentile church. They have a crown of pride, they are drunkards who bump into each other, vomit is on all tables and there is no place clean, so the drunkards of Ephraim shall be trodden under feet.
(Isa 28:11-13) For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Don’t you think it is interesting that this prophecy was referred to on the day of Pentecost regarding the gift of tongues and don’t you also think it is interesting that we today live at a time that many believers have rejected the gift of tongues, as we are faced with all kinds of so called tongues of blabbering and so clearly foolishness? But when he that is perfect is come, then that which is done in part shall cease. This is the judgment of God upon our house, the house of Ephraim, the lost ten tribes; that the Word of God would be unto us line upon line and precept upon precept so that we would fall backward, be broken, snared and taken. I find it incredibly interesting that many teachers of the Word today recommend this scripture, not as a judgment, but as a recommendation on how to study scriptures! Brothers, the Word of God is not a precept upon a precept or a line upon a line, but the Word of God is a person, it is living, it grows, it transforms us into his image. Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against God, it makes us victorious over sin, it circumcises our hearts, for the letter of the law kills, but the Spirit gives life.
(Rom 2:29) But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Rom 7:6) But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. (2Co 3:6) Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
It utterly hurts me and grieves me in spirit that many, even in the remnant community insist on truth, not by faith because of the grace and mercy of God, because of a foundation in the fear of God; but on this faulty foundation of lines upon lines and precepts upon precepts, glorifying their own efforts to acquire truth, blindly, drunkenly bumping into each other, just as the scriptures foretell. Consider this short article: http://www.acts17-11.com/cows_precept.html
The eyelids of the Lord continue to try the hearts of men even though the foundations of truth are destroyed – (Isa 66:2) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
The Lord has promises to hid his truth from those who glory in their own efforts, those who teach and learn the fear of God by the precepts of men. But the Lord will look to those who rejoice in his highness, those who lift up the holy one of Israel, to those who are poor and contrite in spirit and tremble at his Word.
Brothers and sisters, the truth that I speak, I speak because of the grace and mercy of God, by faith. This truth I speak of has a foundation that begins with the fear of God, I did consider myself poor, I did come to the Lord contrite in spirit, trembling at his Word. I don’t claim to be infallible, yet I know what I know by the revelation of Jesus Christ, that truth is the domain of God alone and he will not give his glory to your hard study, your smart brains, your many books and commentaries, BECAUSE THE BREAD BELONGS TO HIS LITTLE CHILDREN!
AND EVEN THOUGH THE FOUNDATIONS OF TRUTH ARE BROKEN, HIS EYELIDS TRY THE HEARTS OF THE CHILDREN OF MEN – FEAR GOD!

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. God’s foundation of truth is not and shall never be broken. The only thing that is broken is all that is outside of the living Word, the Word being the Lord Jesus Christ. That includes all of false religion wrought of man, and outside of God and His ways. Jesus said His Word endures forever. The grass withers, the flower fades, the bogus books religion writes that could pile up like a Babylonian tower to nowhere….shall all perish. But Jesus Word endures forever. Only the Lord can see the heart, and only the Lord can open our eyes and ears to see and hear the Truth of His word.
So is truth hidden until our hearts are right before God? The pharisees witnessed countless miracles and all they could fixate on were knats. We are all blind till the Lord deems us ready, then he shows us who He is and what we need to know. Its a one on one journey so often, its in the conveyances that we can get into trouble. We could all form a babble-tower if we aren’t careful. and then, you read something like the works of George Fox…and think, wow, this guy sure had a lot of revelation from the living Word. He always received it from meditating on the Logos, the written Word of God, as Christ opened his eyes. Is the Word a person? Yes, is the Word the written Word which God preserved and set forth in a book too, yes, I believe it is. How can they be mutually exclusive when they are inseparable? The words are spirit and life, and when God opens the meanings up, its a total revelation. Can someone argue for years about terminology, nits and knats….well we have about 6,000 years of that which shall perish too. It is what will not perish that instills the fear of God.

t – It is difficult to speak about types and shadows of the OT physical things and compare them to the spiritual things of the NT, like the temple and it’s foundation. So I am not really sure what exactly you are disagreeing with me on or what that substantively means. Paul said in (1Co 3:10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
So Paul said that is took grace from God, given to him in order to build this foundation. Paul wasn’t the first of Apostles so what foundation did Paul build? Why did he need to have grace to build anything since he was not the first Apostle? Is there more than one foundation or more than one temple? So among the fellowship of the Saints that you are a part of, who built that foundation and as a wise masterbuilder set you all in place? Did Paul, who has been dead for 2000 years?
Again, think about it and what it might actually be that you are disagreeing with. The Holy Spirit wrote Ps. 11 – what foundations were destroyed?
As for the Word of God – there have been many Christians over time that did not have access to a bible, there was no English bible until 1500 years after Christ, the scripture it’s self says – the letter kills but the spirit gives life, of course they can be mutually exclusive, because they are two different things. In the beginning was the Word – not the written scriptures – so they are clearly different. Thanks for writing.

I have no strife to offer anyone, and certainly no clever arguments. I am only being taught and walking in the light the Lord gives me each day by faith in his Word.
For now, as faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, these are some things that stand out:
2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Mat 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39 The new covenant gospel of peace.
Friends in Christ Quaker meeting 1854
“We feel bound explicitly to avow our continued unshaken persuasion that all war is utterly incompatible with the plain precepts of our Divine Lord and Lawgiver, and with the whole spirit and tenor of His Gospel; and that no plea of necessity or of policy, however urgent or peculiar, can avail to release either individuals or nations from the paramount allegiance which they owe unto Him who hath said ‘Love your enemies. The way of Christ is followed not by those who would be mighty and powerful, but by those who would serve. His peace for the world will be won by those who follow him in repentance and willingness to forgive.”
Can you recommend a Psalm that has brought you encouragement in times of
discouragement? Thank you for any thoughts.

t – I like your attitude, you won’t need any clever arguments to give, not needed here. And you won’t need to worry about being heard by much speaking or posting a ton of scriptures either. And yes I love the Psalms and I wouldn’t know where to start – I love chapter 50, but that just doesn’t do justice to the question, because there are so many that I love.
I do want to say this one thing and make it clear, I am not teaching that there is anything wrong with Jesus and his truth, his truth is everlasting and yes, in all times the Lord does know those who belong to him and in Christ there is no unsure foundation. However, since you brought up the Quakers, I thought I would tell you that I did read the diaries of George Fox, loved it, however it is my understanding that the Quakers started off much the way I am, they saw the corrupt religious system and told those who would hear to come out of the harlot. I do believe that all the Quakers believed and did were not always correct, but I will always respect the contribution that these people made with their very lives to the truth.
I am simply a man who have seen all of my life the corruption and lies in all aspects of what we today call Christianity, from Pentecostalism to Baptist to Reformed to Home Church, it’s lies perverted truth and our ways are being made crooked, not straight. Lam. 3. – the people of God are experiencing the anger and judgment of God today, it’s obvious to me. God has not changed, he didn’t become a different God from the OT to the NT and the same judgments that were passed on the rebellious children of natural Israel, are the same judgments that are being passed on to the people of God today, the spiritual Israel. This is what the Spirit of God made clear to me over and over again and furthermore, the Lord has shown me the scriptures to see that this very thing is written of old by the prophets and apostles of the Lord. We don’t have a physical house anymore, but a spiritual house, God does not dwell in houses made by the hands of men, but in a spiritual house. Today his people are scattered and in ruins and yes, there are breaches in the wall and foundation. This is no reflection on the Lord, his truth is sure, but just like the Saints of old who needed to leave Babylon after 70 years and go back to rebuild the city, we are in the same place, this is what the Spirit of God has been and is teaching me for many years now. I would ask you to hold me accountable if I say anything that is wrong with reasons of any consequence to the truth. In other words, just like Tim. ch 2 – not striving about words to no profit, things that are of no consequence to the truth, but when it really counts, where the rubber meets the road, I welcome you to hold me accountable. I like the way Jesus answered with great wisdom to the Scribes and Pharisees, he said simply “It is written” and they were stopped in their tracks, just one well placed scripture is all it takes. And thank you for writing!

Thank you for writing, and thanks for sharing about your experience in reading the George Fox material. I understand that over time they too (the Quakers) drifted into apostacy. There are some small groups of primitive Quakers in the UK from what I understand, …it is just so sad. The extent to which the sheep are scattered and the difficulty in finding even a small group where encouragement and exhortation is present, and yet it is all in God’s Word as predicted. It is all unfolding as the Lord said it would. My spouse and I practically live in the psalms these days, and indeed the Lord upholds and helps us. As the days grow darker we are more and more aware that it is His life not ours that is enduring onward in this journey. Praying that you and your family are blessed and strengthened in this journey with Christ. Thank you again for your kind post.
