Today I would like to endeavor to call every person who claims to be a “Christian”, every person who claims to be “For Christ” and not “Against Christ” – I would like to call you to repentance. So you might say “Repentance over what Bro”, well I am going to explain, God help me!
In the book of Amos, there are many interesting quotes – you know that the book of Amos was not written chapter by chapter – chapter numbers were later on added for convenience, therefore it is likely that Amos is a book, prophecy and idea as a whole, not divided by chapters. Consider the following quotes:
(Amo 1:9) Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:
As you know, Esau was the father of the Edomites – the very term “Jacobs Trouble” was coined at a time that Esau was in the hunt for his brother’s life because of the birthright that was taken from Esau and given to Jacob.

What I will NEVER understand about remnant Christians (or whatever they wish to call themselves, the anti-institutional – anti-church going – anti-Babylon sort) They always claim they want unity with “like-minded” fellow saints, yet they refuse to rightly judge others. That is they refuse to behave themselves in a manner so as to ascertain the truth about those who they come in contact with who claim the mantle of “Remnant Saints”.
The scriptures are chalked full of instruction about dealing with brothers, scriptures like Matt. ch. 18, you are told in so many words “if you have a problem with your brother don’t bother offering your gifts to God at the altar before you make it right with him, go to your brother first.” However, I am not talking about the way to behave with brothers here, I am rather addressing how to behave among people who claim the mantle of “The Remnant”, yet in all practical honesty, they remain strangers.

Many Christians believe in error that the New Testament scriptures were written for only the New Testament Christians, and the Old Testament scriptures for the natural born Jews, or the OT saints before Jesus. This belief could not be more erroneously harmful to the life and belief system of a Christian! Today I would like to talk a little about one of my favorite Psalms. If you don’t understand Psalms 74, then you will never understand the “Abomination of Desolation” foretold and spoken of by the prophet Daniel (Dan. 11:31), and mentioned by Jesus (Matt. 24:15), this is indeed the biggest sign that the end is near in all of scriptures.
Let’s get started:
(Psa 74:1) Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

(Luk 6:47-49) Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
Many people read the above scripture and interpret it as the institution of a law, if they can read where Jesus said “feed the poor and visit people in prison”, and they deem themselves as having completed or obeyed this perceived “Law of Christ”, then they count themselves as sound and truly the disciples of Christ. Others may look at the command given to the disciples of Christ before his ascension to “preach the gospel”, they have no grace to preach, neither are they personally sent by God to preach, but they count themselves as obeying the “Law of Christ”, and therefore sound as “doers of the Word”. (Rom. 10:15) Would you like an example?
The above video is an extreme example of someone preaching who is not sent, there are many that are far less offensive, and even appear far more loving, but the Lord has not sent them!
What we need to do is take a closer look at what Jesus is teaching and what his Apostles taught so we can expose these works of iniquity, so that none of ourselves would deceive ourselves, thinking that our works are righteous, when they are not.

I have a long history going back 40+ years of experience in what we call Christianity. Anyone who knows me, knows that I have never denied the Lord. There are people who I went to elementary school, Jr. high school and high school with, which can attest to the fact that I witnessed to other kids about Jesus Christ many times. I had no problem making a fool out of myself and being rejected by others from my youth until now; seven children and five grandchildren later. I am not saying that I haven’t sinned in my life, I committed sins that I am not proud of, but I never denied the Lord despite the false teachings and many different doctrines I have been exposed to, and experienced the fruit of over the last 40+ years.
But there came a time in which there was a major pivot in my life, a water shed season, at the time I didn’t even believe that I could survive it, I thought I would surely die. During this season the Lord gave me certain, sure, solid foundational truth. During this season I would literally tremble as I read the scriptures as the Holy Spirit brought these things to life and establish me in these truths. I am sure those who despise my image shriek when I say this, but my great treasure that I value is the fear of God, the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. There are many people who might read what I have got to say and feel condemned or challenged, their image is different than mine, their judgement is different than mine, we are not alike, we have different things that trouble us, that concern us.
Perhaps the best place to start is to look a little closer at the essence, the foundation of what is Christ, in order to understand the things that really matter. As the scripture say, “Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, The Life”, so to know Jesus Christ is to know Thy Way, The Truth and The Life!

I am beginning to notice something that I just can’t help but write about. I am seeing a change, I am noticing something that is starting to reveal it’s self in our society. People are starting to see some things and coming to realize some things that in the past were hidden.
Let me give you a few examples:
Fifty years ago the average person in America knew that Communism was an enemy of everything that was good and pure, it was an enemy of Christ. Everyone knew that millions of people were being murdered in that system, many of them Christians. Everyone knew that the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, everything inside the Iron Curtain was evil. When Hollywood celebrities and other godless voices in our country even gave the slightest hint that they were sympathetic to the Communist cause, they were considered traitors and treasonous. These Communist sympathizers tried very hard to deny it, they were pretty good at keeping their treasonous anti-Americanism in check. Fifty years later these very people are now the people who control this country. They are godless, faithless, spineless, arrogant fools who are now being exposed, they don’t even pretend anymore, if you just listen to them, they will tell you who they are by the things they say and also by the things they fail to say. Reference the recent CNBC Republican Debate – three moderators who were arrogant fools, right on display!

Reading Nahum and Habakkuk this morning and it occurred to me now and has in the past as well, but this particularly came to my attention. Today in Christendom that which is holy is in captivity, just as the King of Babylon drank out of the vessels of the house of the Lord he had taken from Jerusalem, so today there are spiritual powers that be. EVERYONE and anyone who names the name of God and succeeds dealing with the spiritual powers that are, must contend with these powers, if you don’t get their approval, you don’t pass go and you don’t collect $200.
The Prophecy of Nahum is against the Assyrians. Very important that one know that the Assyrians ARE THE LAST POWER IN CHARGE BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD, THE FINAL INDIGNATION!

Well howdy do out there! I realize I haven’t had much to say recently. I don’t speak unless I do have something to say. Been real busy in my job lately, and I also must admit that I throw my hands up in the air over the complete foolishness that parades it’s self as goodness, love, kindness, brotherly love today. You know if this is brotherly love I am experiencing then the scriptures can not be true. Yes you guessed it, another potential brother of mine bit the dust a couple weeks ago. I struggle with speaking about it because it is my sense that evil imaginations may take a hold in your minds and you would miss the point of what I am briefly attempting to communicate.

Mal. 4:6 Turning the hearts of the Fathers to the Children and the Children to the Fathers, lest he strike the earth with a curse!
I realize that there are many well meaning women that will read what I am about to say, and write me off as some authoritative, controlling, chauvinistic man, with no understanding of there being no difference between male and female in Christ. What I am about to tell you are things that the Lord has made plain to me over many years in my life. Please hear me out and don’t think that you know me based on your past experiences with insecure controlling men and fathers, who were not like Christ, after all, it is not about me, but about Christ and his glory and order.
