As you may know, I am a staunch believer in leaving the harlot church system, Jesus didn’t build it.  Blogger Jim just wrote something that has me fuming.  I won’t tell you which blog, whether you know who I speak of or not, is besides the point.  I needed to say something because Jim, if he were referring to me in his blog, is very misinformed about the reality in which I live.   Since I have left the institutional harlot church system, at first I thought for sure that people like Jim who got the right foot of dis-fellowship in the harlot church system, would love to fellowship with people like me, boy was I wrong!  No Jim has his little group he is a part of, they exclude whom they want to exclude and accept who they want to accept.  Like any other group, it’s about power and control.

I have been endeavoring for some time to convince people like Jim that they are not all what they claim to be, and before God will receive his little group, repentance is needed.  Jim’s little group doesn’t believe me, they got a few smiling people and the bible, they can read, and so all is well in Jim’s little group, until a problem occurs, and believe me, it does all the time!  When that problem occurs in Jim’s little group, they will of course still not get the message that their little group has not been received by Christ.  No Jim, your little group is not the promise land, those promises are yet to come.  And Jim,  I hope you are counted worthy to escape even though you have persecuted the Lord Jesus in people like me!

This is what Jim blogged:   Proverbs 18:1 A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment.

The Lord calls many into the wilderness. Yet everyone in the wilderness should be confident they are there on His calling and not their own. Those who live in populated areas but can’t find even a single other saint or family to fellowship with after many years should consider this. I am not referring to those who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from fellowshipping in person, but those who are well able.

Some of the traits of those stuck in the endless wilderness:

Critical – see the smallest faults in others and isolate themselves to stay ‘pure’
Prideful – have no need of the body of Christ under the pretense of only being taught by God
Contentious – take every situation and blow it up into fleshy drama or continually act and speak in a graceless manner
Apathetic – laziness in seeking other believers to meet with
Afraid – past hurts by professing Christians make it easier to remain isolated than risk a repeat
Secretive – sinful lifestyle that can’t be hidden from others in true fellowship
There is a real cost to be paid to form real relationships with real saints in real life. It may cost us our pride, time, energy, or take us out of our comfort zones. It may cost us the ability to grant greater leniency to our own infirmities than we do to others. Yet there is great blessing in having other believers to break bread with, pray with, feed the poor with, do street ministry with, sit and dig through the word over coffee late into the night on Friday with, etc in Jesus name.

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

This what I am thinking and why it has me fuming:

I guess Jim wanted to make a point and found a scripture that he reports affirms it.  I guess Jim doesn’t like the KJV, but I think it is much better than his, here is what it actually says:

(Pro 18:1-5) Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.  A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.  When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach. The words of a man’s mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.  It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment.

It helps to read a few verses at least to get a feel for what is being said, but I can say that it sure doesn’t say what Jim claims it says.  I notice that Jim comes up with a totally unbiblical term “endless wilderness”, I just want to know one thing Jim, am I a brother in Christ?  And if not, what is my sin, because I can tell you what your sin is Jim.  I write a bunch about it on this blog, I talk much about those who refuse to speak the truth to their brothers, those who have lying lips, those who walk with an evil imagination, those who look to their own concerns, those with a sectarian spirit, those who do not receive the brethren, those who falsely accuse others and do not judge rightly and point the iniquity finger, which God hates.

But Jim, what I am particularly taken back by is your points as to why people like me are in an “endless wilderness”.   We are a scattered people and yes, in the wilderness we are, including you Jim, whether you know it or not, maybe your friends afford you delusion, but Jim, you are in the wilderness right now, unless you are a harlot!  All God’s people are a scattered people and are waiting for something, waiting for promises, promises given in scripture.   No Jim, your little sectarian group is not the promise land, you may have a little company in the wilderness, but EVERYTHING I speak of on this blog, is here to instruct little groups like yours, I don’t rebuke harlots, I rebuke little groups in the wilderness!

I would poise the question to you Jim, where do the prophets of old, where are the concerns you bring up found?  Did Isaiah speak of your concerns, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, where are the prophets of old who affirm your concerns? What are your concerns again?  Critical, Prideful, Contentious, Apathetic, Afraid,  Secretive – I just love that little one liner after contentious “They speak in a graceless manner”, that is really rich, I can just imagine Jim saying that this whole blog is nothing but graceless speech, no Jim there are tons of grace in my speech, if you hear me and repent, grace from God will follow and if you don’t more trouble is at your door.

Here are some of my concerns and the sins that little groups like yours engage in, and I will just paste some scriptures and maybe they will speak for themselves, they should.

(Isa 56:3) Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

(Isa 56:8) The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

(Isa 56:10-11) His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.  Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

(Isa 58:6-12) Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.  Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;  And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.  And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

(Isa 59:1-4) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.  For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.  None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

(Isa 59:6-10) Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.  Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.  We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.

(Isa 59:13-15) In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.  And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.  Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.

And that’s just a few chapters in Isaiah Jim – nothing there Jim about failing to speak with grace or any of your concerns that you brought up!  I am in the wilderness separated from you Jim, for my protection, that’s a blessing not a curse.  Soon enough I will get word of more trouble in your camp, I can promise you that, repent brother!

(Isa 66:5) Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Now I don’t know that Jim was speaking of me or perhaps just speaking of people in general like me, Jim doesn’t speak to me and anytime in the past I have attempted to have a conversation with Jim, this younger less mature man has treated me with disrespect or disregard.  The best most honest communication coming from this man, tells me that he does mean me.  Don’t you love it when people hint around and don’t have the nerve to speak the truth plainly to your face?  Well, I continue to plainly and clearly call to Jim’s group and other little groups who continue to beat their chest at the scattered Saints – Repent Jim!
