Dear Brother, I would ask the question today, are you upright in heart? Do you really, HONESTLY, want to know the Truth and be set free by that truth, no matter what the cost? Are you truly willing to be wrong, if you really are wrong? Do you really want to be corrected, do you really want your way to be made straight? If you truly are upright in heart then the answer to all of the above would have to be a resounding “YES!!” Read the short 11th chapter of Psalms, it says much more than you might think, and then let’s talk about it.
(Psa 11:1-7) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
Today the wicked are bending their bow to shoot privately at the upright in heart. The darts come out of their mouths, it’s as though they are saying to your soul – “Flee as a bird to your mountain!”.
Make no mistake my brother, we cannot have fellowship when our foundations are destroyed. There is no true foundation that can be laid other than Jesus Christ, any other foundation is just sinking sand.
(1Co 3:10) According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Notice Paul the Apostle says, “According to the grace of God which is given unto me”. Are you Paul the Apostle? Are you a wise masterbuilder as Paul was? Did God give you the grace to build his foundation? Paul said “you have not many fathers”, are you a father of the faith, can you build the foundation of Jesus Christ? So I ask you the question again, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
One of the biggest lies told is this, “If you just read Paul’s or the Apostles writings and believe them, you are then built on the foundation of Christ, now all you got to do is just preach the gospel”. Brothers, that is NOT what the scriptures teach, instead the scriptures proclaim, “Call upon the name of the Lord and you shall be saved – and how shall they call upon whom they have not heard – and how shall they hear without a preacher (like Paul) – and how shall they preach except they be sent?” (Eph 2:20) And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Jesus had a saying: (Luk 14:28-30) For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. How much worse is it for a man to build a house, and for all to complement him on the great job, only to find the house in ruin when a major storm comes, because it is built on sand?
So Brother, the only true foundation is Jesus Christ and those who are poor, contrite and upright in heart are the building blocks, the lively stones to be set by wise masterbuilders. A foundation is what keeps the house together, if you and I are truly built on Christ, then and only then can we weather the storm, only then can we stand together.
So since the foundations are destroyed, what shall the righteous do?
Another big lie is this, “Since we have the “church” fathers, the creeds, orthodoxy and the written bible, we don’t need a revelation of Jesus Christ anymore.” So how is that working out for you dear brothers? As for me, I continue to mock as I look at the houses they build, not only do they not have what it takes to finish the house, they don’t even have a proper foundation to make it stand, what a shame and what a sham! Can anyone please say the word – “DELUSION”?
(1Jn 1:1-2) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
How brothers, can you read the verses here in John and not get it? That which was from the beginning was not the bible, it was Jesus Christ the living Word. Have you personally heard, have you personally seen, have you looked upon and handled with your own hands, was this eternal life manifested to you by the revelation of Jesus Christ, like it was to Paul the Apostle? If the foundations be destroyed, what shall the righteous do?
SO WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
(Psa 50:4-6) He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah. (Isa 13:2-3) Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles. I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
Before I answer this question, I wanted to put a few strategic scriptures above, verses that speak to the issue in a round about way. But more importantly, let us get to the bottom line. We are going back to 1John for the answer, because that which is the center of Jesus Christ, the essence of Jesus Christ, a true foundation, is not found is doctrinal creeds, it is not found in sectarian denominational religion, but it is found in 1 John.
(1Jn 1:3-7) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
If we who have seen and heard, if we truly have a revelation of Jesus Christ, the sure foundation, and you have fellowship with us, then your fellowship is truly with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. If we walk in the light and have fellowship with one another, then the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
Brothers and Sisters in Christ, what I am saying today is impossible to describe with simple letters, it’s got to be seen, it’s got to be handled with your hands, it’s a living truth and not dead letters. Like any living truth it has a mind of it’s own, it’s a living Epistle of Christ and not dead letters that simply puff up with religious knowledge and soon kill one into a state of delusion, who’s end is to be burned. Let’s stop building houses on sinking sand, dear brothers. It’s the grace of God that we need, not dead letters, but living truth. We can prove this out, we don’t need to be delusional, we don’t need to settle for an unclear trumpet sound. You don’t need to obey me, you don’t need to listen to me, but if Christ is in me, then it’s him you need to hear and obey. We submit to one another in the FEAR OF GOD. Resist any such evil imagination against me or anyone else for that matter and let’s prove this out!
IF WE HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER, THEN OUR FELLOWSHIP IS TRULY WITH THE FATHER AND HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST – THAT WHICH WE HAVE HANDLED WITH OUR HANDS AND SEEN WITH OUR EYES – AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN!
Please tell me that you get this, please tell me that you understand this!
