Most people do not stop to realize the significance of the words of Jesus in the following when he said,

(Luk 13:34-35) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

This is how the it works folk, this is what Jesus was saying, if the Jews would have received him, he would have ushered in the Kingdom of God and the Jews would be ruling and reigning with Christ on the earth today, with Jesus on the throne of David, but instead their kingdom became desolate, as it is today.  There are two workings of the Lord I want to point out here, Gathering and Scattering, we will talk more about this later.

It must have been more than 20 years ago that I got an invitation to attend a small meeting in Anaheim, California.  This meeting was a very special meeting of all the most holy men in the world who found it became fashionable to call themselves “Apostles”, so they called the meeting “The Apostles Gathering”.   I did not call myself an Apostle, I made that clear, but I have angered quite a few religious men in my life telling them this,  I thought my calling was to one day fill the shoes of an Apostle.  Well I have gotten wiser, so today I call myself a brother, a follower of Jesus, a servant of the Lord, a spiritual man, but I no longer tell folks that I will be an Apostle at a future date. See the distinction between the two?

I would like to share some understanding I believe the Lord has given me today about what is happening in America with the election of Donald Trump.  I hope you will hear me.

(Eph 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

It has been prophesied by many false prophets that Donald Trump is Cyrus, the Lord’s Anointed (Isa. 45).  Even Balaam, an evil prophet in scripture, did say correct things when he blessed Israel after attempting to curse them for Balak, the King of Moab (Num. 23).  So there is some truth to this and I want to explain.

I recently read a short article written by Andrew Strom entitled Is Politics ruining Christianity.  I took grave exception to it, and I would like to explain why.  I have always wondered what was behind this view and attitude towards America.  Why was it just America that always appeared to get the brunt of such criticism and not South Africa, South America or perhaps China, Russia or Europe?  Are there not nationalistic Christians in all of these countries, so why are people so set against Americans in the USA who claim to be Christians and seek to keep their freedoms in the bill of rights and the constitution?

Let me recap in a few words the message I got from Andrew Strom, who is not a US citizen, but a citizen of New Zealand, this is what I took away from the article linked above.  I won’t exactly quote the article, you can read it if you want, but here is the message:

Christians in America are too nationalistic, this reminds me of the words of Barack Obama – “they cling to their guns and their bibles”.  Strom claims that Americans, not New Zealanders, rather than preaching the gospel are hollering angrily at the wicked over the constitution, gun rights, anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-liberal, illegal immigration and anti-family measures that are propagated by the wicked people of this world.  He goes on to quote the scripture  “Our Kingdom is Not of This World”.  I take it that he is really saying – “rather than voting or other political activities, because that makes the wicked mad, Americans should instead preach the gospel”.  It sounds good, but is it?

Law Vs. Grace, to much theology and too little Faith.

Today I am posting an opposition video that many of you mistakenly respect.  There were many good things that came out of the Protestant reformation of the 1600’s, salvation by faith alone, not work of righteousness, lest any man boast, was one of these good things.  The man from “Wretched” in this video is claiming that you would be much happier, he calls it the joy of the Lord, if you had his “theology”.  I don’t claim to be able to represent all of this man’s “theology” here, I would only like to address the clear false teaching and wretched theology this man is presenting on the following video.  Please listen to the short video and see if you do not understand the clear contradiction posed by this man’s wretched theology.  I am posting this so you may understand what flaw I am pointing out, It’s really important!

I find myself in constant turmoil, I am almost in complete despair, I am ready to give up on the notion that most people even have a chance to be saved!  It’s not that I do not believe in God who can do anything, it’s not that I don’t see God as all powerful, but it’s just that I don’t know what God will do, especially in a time and season such as this.  (Psa 77:8) Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

As I observe the condition of men, I am ever more aware of the complete separation, the impassible gulf, the chasm, the impenetrable wall that is between man and God.

Everyone today who considers themselves a mature Christian, an avid bible reader and believer, most everyone I know or cross paths with wants to see revival, they want children in the faith.  These people have a tendency to base their vision of this revival on their past experiences, perhaps many years ago in Christendom.  While these people will typically point to the persecuted church in other places of the world like China and the middle east, they don’t experience the revival here in the states that they would hope for.  Jesus said,

(Mat 24:19-21) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet.

(Isa 58:1-2) Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.  Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

There is nothing more important at this time, a time of great trouble, a troublesome time, that we love godly rebuke.  It is not time to be a scorner, as it says in Proverbs:  (Pro 9:8) Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.   The reason that there is so much rebuke in my writings, I am outlining here;  I don’t rebuke because I am self-righteous, rather I rebuke because I love.   I know that the Lord has given me insight, he has shown me mercy and I want that mercy to extend to others.

Dear Brother, I would ask the question today, are you upright in heart?  Do you really, HONESTLY, want to know the Truth and be set free by that truth, no matter what the cost?  Are you truly willing to be wrong, if you really are wrong?  Do you really want to be corrected, do you really want your way to be made straight?  If you truly are upright in heart then the answer to all of the above would have to be a resounding “YES!!”   Read the short 11th chapter of Psalms, it says much more than you might think, and then let’s talk about it.

When it is said in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the word and the word was God”, most people who read that scripture don’t understand it, it goes right over their head or rather past their spiritual understanding.  How is it that Jesus is the Word of God?

(Joh 1:4-9) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John the Baptist was not that light, but he came to bare witness of that light, he was sent from God.  The Word of God is a person. Continue reading →
