It must have been more than 20 years ago that I got an invitation to attend a small meeting in Anaheim, California.  This meeting was a very special meeting of all the most holy men in the world who found it became fashionable to call themselves “Apostles”, so they called the meeting “The Apostles Gathering”.   I did not call myself an Apostle, I made that clear, but I have angered quite a few religious men in my life telling them this,  I thought my calling was to one day fill the shoes of an Apostle.  Well I have gotten wiser, so today I call myself a brother, a follower of Jesus, a servant of the Lord, a spiritual man, but I no longer tell folks that I will be an Apostle at a future date. See the distinction between the two?

Today I would like to endeavor to call every person who claims to be a “Christian”, every person who claims to be “For Christ” and not “Against Christ” – I would like to call you to repentance.  So you might say “Repentance over what Bro”, well I am going to explain, God help me!

In the book of Amos, there are many interesting quotes – you know that the book of Amos was not written chapter by chapter – chapter numbers were later on added for convenience, therefore it is likely that Amos is a book, prophecy and idea as a whole, not divided by chapters.  Consider the following quotes:

(Amo 1:9) Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

As you know, Esau was the father of the Edomites – the very term “Jacobs Trouble” was coined at a time that Esau was in the hunt for his brother’s life because of the birthright that was taken from Esau and given to Jacob.

Psalms 74- Abomination of Desolation

Many Christians believe in error that the New Testament scriptures were written for only the New Testament Christians, and the Old Testament scriptures for the natural born Jews, or the OT saints before Jesus.  This belief could not be more erroneously harmful to the life and belief system of a Christian!  Today I would like to talk a little about one of my favorite Psalms.  If you don’t understand Psalms 74, then you will never understand the “Abomination of Desolation” foretold and spoken of by the prophet Daniel (Dan. 11:31), and mentioned by Jesus (Matt. 24:15), this is indeed the biggest sign that the end is near in all of scriptures.

Let’s get started:

(Psa 74:1) Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?

Build Your House on The Rock

(Luk 6:47-49) Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.  But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Many people read the above scripture and interpret it as the institution of a law, if they can read where Jesus said “feed the poor and visit people in prison”, and they deem themselves as having completed or obeyed this perceived “Law of Christ”, then they count themselves as sound and truly the disciples of Christ.  Others may look at the command given to the disciples of Christ before his ascension to “preach the gospel”, they have no grace to preach, neither are they personally sent by God to preach, but they count themselves as obeying the “Law of Christ”, and therefore sound as “doers of the Word”.  (Rom. 10:15)   Would you like an example?

The above video is an extreme example of someone preaching who is not sent, there are many that are far less offensive, and even appear far more loving, but the Lord has not sent them!

What we need to do is take a closer look at what Jesus is teaching and what his Apostles taught so we can expose these works of iniquity, so that none of ourselves would deceive ourselves, thinking that our works are righteous, when they are not.

A Brief Thought on Muslim Immigration

Allow me to briefly throw my oar in the water on the issue of Muslim immigration. I do know that there are spiritual wicked forces at play. People who are tools of the devil and do his work don’t always know why they believe what they believe, they just “FEEL” that way so strongly that they shut down discussion, dissent and reasoning by violent means if necessary. People who are tools of Satan do NOT have justification for their actions, they need protection in our society so that they are not exposed as the Villains they really are. These people get their evil deeds painted and redefined as love and compassion by Satan’s agents in the mass media.

As long as the God fearing people in our society, some more and some much less, continue to attempt to reason with ungodly agents of Satan, under the banner of being “fair and balanced” – falsely admitting that the agents of Satan are otherwise reasonable people with just a difference of opinion; as long as this continues, it only serves to legitimize and compromise with evil.  Evil will NEVER settle for anything but victory, the devil is not interested in compromise, he is interested in defeat, total annihilation of his enemies and believe me when I tell you that Jesus Christ and his followers ARE the NUMBER ONE Enemy of Satan!

Are you a Thief, a Robber and a Liar?

Today we are surrounded by thieves, robbers and liars.  As the scriptures say, “the earth belongs to the Lord and the fullness of it”,  the earth does NOT belong to Satan.  So when Satan and his agents of darkness rule over the earth with their wicked schemes, Satan and his agents of darkness do show themselves to be the ultimate example of thieves, robbers and liars.

I, as a servant of righteousness, a servant of the light, I have Jesus living in me.  What I speak are the things that are of Christ.  The fruit of those things that I speak are found in the lives of those who receive them.  Paul the Apostle said “It is not I that live but Christ that lives in me” – “for me to live is Christ, but to die is gain”.  But today the true servants of righteousness are besieged by servants of darkness.  These deceivers go about to make children and followers unto themselves, they present themselves as though they were servants themselves of righteousness.  They all read the bible and claim authority on it’s purpose and meaning and yet they themselves to NOT bear the image of Jesus Christ, they do NOT suffer with Jesus Christ, they do NOT love as Jesus Christ, they only make a an outward show of love and righteousness, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

Anointing, broken foundations, Brotherly Love, drunkards of Ephraim, Fellowship, line upon line, Loving the Brethren, Righteous Judgment, Truth no lie

I woke up last night, which is not unusual for me, and read Isa. 50 & 51.  I am a little stirred by the six times in the 51st chapter to the beginning of the 52nd chapter that we are told to “Awake” – H5782
עוּר
‛ûr
oor
A primitive root (rather identical with H5783 through the idea of opening the eyes); to wake (literally or figuratively): – (a-) wake (-n, up), lift up (self), X master, raise (up), stir up (self).

Each time we are told to “Awake”, it is repeated twice – “Awake, awake”.  I did find the word “Awake”, in Isaiah a seventh time (KJV), but it was a different word and it was speaking of the resurrection from the dead (interesting?).  I am not a big numbers kind of guy, but I did notice Isaiah repeats this word six times, the number of man.

Many years ago I heard a man teach on the internet many truths about the Lord, about the present apostasy, about the end, things I believed that the Lord was, or had already shown me.  I started attending his fellowship online and was desirous to be apart of a family.  Being a father of a large family myself and having a vast history of experience in the institutional church system, and considering that I had already been separated from that system for years, I was looking for a family where Jesus was the head.  It had been made clear to me by the scriptures that Jesus never started ONE organization, built ONE building, and the New Testament church was not a building, but a family with Jesus at the head.  The important factor that existed in the NT believers were the people who were lively stones built together on a sure foundation, not a building or an organization.

How shall they Preach except they be sent?

When it is said in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the word and the word was God”, most people who read that scripture don’t understand it, it goes right over their head or rather past their spiritual understanding.  How is it that Jesus is the Word of God?

(Joh 1:4-9) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John the Baptist was not that light, but he came to bare witness of that light, he was sent from God.  The Word of God is a person. Continue reading →

Raise the standard and sow not among thorns

(Jer 4:3) For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Many in the remnant community, outside the structured harlot church system, are trying the best they can to be salt and light, they wish to obey the great commission. (Matt. 28:20)   I fear many of these people are attempting to obey the bible like some sort of rule book, they have not been sent by the Holy Spirit to preach, yet they persist.  (Jer 23:21) I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.  (Rom 10:15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

All of you, especially you of the remnant community should be very well aware that you should not read the bible like a rule book, but instead you all should be led by the Spirit of God.  It shouldn’t be you living in you; and you doing the things that you think are right, but instead it should be Christ living in you and the Holy Spirit leading you.
